I n support of St. Joseph School we would like to share two important events. The first is the establishment of an approved and independent 501(c)(3) not-for-profit foundation, PACE (Parents for the Advancement of Catholic Education). The mission of the foundation is to provide counsel and long-term sustainability to educate students with an affordable, faith-based curriculum that instills the ideals of service and citizenship. It was formed by dedicated parents of St. Joseph School who are committed to catholic education. The second is that PACE will be holding its first annual "Nurturing Children with Heart" Gala on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Casa Larga Vineyards.
At the soul of St. Joseph School are the teachers, staff, administrators, families and students. Together they demonstrate a true partnership: parents involved in the education of their children; students nurtured academically, socially and spiritually; and school personnel committed to their role of shaping the lives of children. With this in mind, PACE is delighted to announce that the proceeds will benefit St. Joseph School with a focus on enhancing the school's center of literary arts, and will include expanded offerings and an improved student experience. We hope you will consider this a worthwhile cause, and support us so that we may continue providing an exceptional educational environment at St. Joseph school.
As PACE receives no government support and relies exclusively on donations from our school families, parishes, and the business community, we ask that you consider helping us make our first annual gala a success. By donating an item or service to be auctioned, procuring advertising space to be included in our Gala program, providing a monetary donation, or becoming a sponsor, you can make a difference. In addition to helping a great cause, your business will also benefit from exposure to St. Joseph School's community, and your donation is tax deductible. To show our deep gratitude, your business will be listed in our Gala program.
