W e can’t have an auction without sponsors, donors and advertisers! We are asking our families, friends and community leaders to help us to sponsor, advertise, donate or secure auction items. You may print the form(s) and drop your donation at the school office or you may complete the on-line form(s) and designate pick-up or drop off.
Not sure how you can help, browse the suggestions below:
- Does the business you work for have a service or product people would like? Why not consider asking your employer
- Do you own a business or have a hobby? Have you considered what service or product you can provide. Be creative, maybe you are a lawyer and can write a will, maybe you are a landscaper and you can provide a landscape design of a front lawn, maybe you make and sell jewelry, the possibilities are endless.
- Are you good at a service you can provide to others? Cook a gourmet meal, paint a room, baby-sit, teach knitting, provide homemade cookies monthly, give golf lessons, house cleaning, car wash, etc.) the possibilities are endless!
- Do you have a business that you frequent? Ask them to donate an item, such as a Starbucks gift card, restaurant gift certificates, or movie theater gift certificates.
- Donate air miles you can't use, or redeem your miles for a voucher that can be transferred.
- Work with another family or families to put together a larger auction item, such as a special theme dinner for 12, a tea party, or a vacation package.
- Are you a teacher or work with children? Consider a picnic for children, out to the movies or a bite to eat.
- Do you have a unique job or know someone who does? Is it something a child would like to visit, see or partake in? Maybe you have a child for a day visit with the person.
- Do you know or have a friend involved with any sport team or maybe you’re a season ticket holder? Consider donating tickets to the game or maybe a signed photograph.
- Donate a weekend away to your cabin or family vacation home or a timeshare.
- Donate cash. It won’t be ‘auctioned off, but it will be used in gaps in putting together auction baskets or groupings.
The possibilities are endless.
